Fraudsters are using new modus operandi to siphon-off amount from bank accounts from account holders. Fraudsters used to send a scrambled text message and asks account holders to send it to a number given by them. After this fraudster will tell that they require debit card number and validity date for further processing. Within seconds of revealing the details, account holder will receive an OTP, which will be asked by the Fraudsters again. Now the process is complete and within minutes amount up to Rs.1,00,000/- may be transferred from your account. Blocking of debit card is not a solution for this issue. Instead freeze the bank account or change the MPIN immediately to stop further loss of money.

ബാങ്ക് തട്ടിപ്പുകാര്‍ അയച്ചുതരുന്ന മെസേജ് ഉപഭോകതാവിന്റെ അക്കൌണ്ട് കാലിയാക്കുന്നു

ഈ തട്ടിപ്പ് നടത്തുന്നതിനായി ഇരയുടെ മൊബൈല്‍ ഫോണിലേക്ക് മെസ്സേജ് അയക്കുകയും ഈ മെസ്സേജ് മറ്റൊരു നമ്പറിലേക്ക് അയക്കുവാന്‍ നിര്‍ദേശിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

ഉപഭോക്താവ് ഈ മെസ്സേജ് അയച്ചു കഴിഞ്ഞാല്‍ ടിയാന്റെ മൊബൈല്‍ നമ്പറുമായി ലിങ്ക് ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ട ബാങ്ക് അക്കൗണ്ട്‌ വിവരങ്ങള്‍ ചോര്‍ത്തപ്പെടുകയും, അതിനു ശേഷം ഡെബിറ്റ് കാര്‍ഡിന്റെ വിവരങ്ങളും ഉപഭോക്താവിന്റെ ഫോണില്‍ ലഭിക്കുന്ന OTP യും തട്ടിപ്പുകാര്‍ ചോദിച്ചറിയുകയും, തുടര്‍ന്നു ഉപഭോക്താവിന്റെ ബാങ്ക് അക്കൊണ്ടിലെ മുഴുവന്‍ നിക്ഷേപവും തട്ടിപ്പുകാര്‍ അവരുടെ അക്കൗണ്ടുകളിലേക്ക് ട്രാന്‍സ്ഫറാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

വഞ്ചിക്കപ്പെട്ടെന്നറിഞ്ഞാല്‍ ഉടനെ ATM കാര്‍ഡ് ബ്ലോക്ക് ചെയ്താലും അക്കൗണ്ടിൽനിന്നും പണം നഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്നത് തടയാൻ സാധിക്കില്ല .
